A technology that augments physical environments on a mobile device screen by overlaying them with digital content is known as AR. A system incorporating three basic features can be defined as AR: a combination of natural and virtual worlds and accurate 3D registration of virtual and natural objects. An interactive experience of a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information is Augmented reality. Augmented reality is blending interactive digital elements – like sensory projections – into our real-world environments.
The idea leads to superimposing graphics, audio, and other sensory enhancements over a real-world environment in real-time as Augmented Reality. (Augmented Reality headset) It is a head-worn apparatus that allows viewers to see images superimposed onto the real environment or reality. Microsoft’s HoloLens is a kind of AR headset that covers the eyes and is more immersive. These headsets provide virtual images, videos, animation, or informational content to users who wear them. The aim of this emerging technology is to transform the world as users see it depending on what they’re looking at. An AR headset normally provides the same reality-based environment as that seen through the naked eye. These headsets will also include a built-in microprocessor and storage.
